Wall Decor Installation Guide: Paintings, Vases & Stickers
Decoration Preparation
Choose a Location: Avoid direct sunlight/dampness; ensure the wall can support the weight (crucial for artwork/vases).
Clean the Wall: Wipe away dust/grease with a dry cloth; allow to dry completely (at least 30 minutes if damp).
1. Wall art paintings
Tools Needed: Measuring tape, pencil, hooks/nail (lightweight: <10 lbs) or drill, expansion bolts, screws (heavyweight: ≥10 lbs).
Steps
1. Mark the Location: The center of the artwork should be 57-60 inches from the ground (eye level). Measure the distance from the top center of the artwork to the hook—mark this height on the wall.
2. Install the Hooks: Lightweight = hammer in the hooks/nails; Heavyweight = drill holes → insert expansion bolts → screw in the screws (the screws will protrude slightly).
3. Hang and Level: Hook the artwork onto the nails/screws. Adjust to be level using a spirit level.
2. Wall Vases
Tools Needed: Pencil, level, adhesive or drill, expansion bolts, screws.
Steps (Two Options)
A. Adhesive (Lightweight: <5 lbs)
1. Clean the wall and the vase's adhesive pad with alcohol; let it dry for 5 minutes.
2. Mark the vase's position (use a level to ensure it's level).
3. Peel off the adhesive film and press firmly on the vase for 30 seconds. Wait 24 hours before adding items.
B. Hardware (Heavyweight: ≥5 lbs)
1. Secure the included bracket to the wall, marking the screw hole positions.
2. Drill holes → Insert expansion bolts → Secure the bracket to the wall with screws.
3. Clip/slide the vase into the bracket.
3. Wall Sticker
Tools Needed: Pencil, level, scraper
Steps
1. Plan the layout: Mark the wall sticker's position on the wall (use a level as a reference line).
2. Prepare the wall sticker: Rub transfer tape with a card to secure the design. Peel paper backing (re-rub if design sticks).
3. Apply: Press firmly onto the translucent top layer with a scraper to secure the design to the wall.
4. Finish: Carefully peel off the adhesive top layer (transfer tape).
Important Note:
Do not exceed the weight limit—use special expansion bolts for drywall/brick walls.
Removal: Use a hairdryer (on low) to heat the adhesive and remove it; fill nail holes with putty.
Cleaning: Wipe away dust with a soft cloth; avoid using strong cleaning agents.
