Today's listing is "Bird in the Woods" ceramic bird wall pocket. This cute design in the surface is made by impressing the texture into the wet clay when it's being made. Each piece is made of stoneware clay, and fired two or more times to harden the clay, or vitrify it, then glazes added and fired again in temperatures above 2200 degrees.

This unique finished bird pocket size is 3 1/2” tall x 5" wide, larger than many on Etsy. The bird's front pocket extends appx 3/4". This allows you to use this pretty ceramic pocket for an air plant pocket, home decor, gift card holder, as an ornament, or another use in your home or office. Each ceramic bird also has a hole and lace loop you may use for mounting or hanging.
